Supporting the consular community since 1968.
Founded in 1968 by Mr. Hernan Navarro, the Consul of Chile to the United States, the Consular Corps of Washington, D.C. has been an integral part of the diplomatic community for over 50 years.
Initially, it was founded to serve as a platform for diplomats to discuss current issues and challenges facing the consular sector. In 1974, the Corps officially adopted its Organizational Guidelines, which continue to govern it today, more than five decades later.
